The children discussed the Kind Man from Luke 10:25-37. And the Bible Phrase that they are to memorize is
“Be kind to one another” (Ephesians 4:32).
We want the children to learn that they can attempt to be like Jesus and be kind to others. And we also want them to know that Jesus is our example for how we are to treat people.
The application for this is simple. I can be kind to other people. And, they learn that they should be kind to other people. If your child has siblings then this one might be repeated a few hundred times this week in the midst of hair pulling, pushing, etc. The hard part might be saying “Be kind to one another” in a kind voice rather than screaming it in their faces every time that they are fighting.
