After a series of small surrenders you the lazy will be overpowered by poverty which comes like a robber. And need comes upon them like an armed man. It may be quick, it may be sudden, and it will be devastating.
Life Goals: Attaining Wisdom
God has given us His Word. It is a glorious treasure that He did not have to give us. And we love this treasure and incline ourselves to hear from God. So, we seek wisdom from His Word like the treasure that it is. The problem is that we do not find wisdom from just our work. It has to be given to us. We have to be given wisdom and understanding from above.
Faith: The Foundation of Wisdom
Faith ends up being the grid by which we view all things. God has created the world. I trust Him. I will live in the way that God has stated that I should live in this world because I trust Him. This is the attitude of faith. I have to understand that God knows better than me the workings of this world. So, in every situation I align myself with what He has said. I end up viewing everything through my faith in Him. It is the foundation of all the decisions I make in this life.
