This week we discussed what we mean when we say “I believe in God”. Who is this “God” we believe in? Is He the same as other “gods” around the world?
R.C. Sproul noted the importance of understanding this when he wrote,
Unfortunately, a flea could wade in the depth of knowledge about God in the mind of the average Christian. This is too shallow a level for a meaningful, growing relationship. There is a famine in the knowledge of God in general and the knowledge of God the Father in particular. – R.C. Sproul, What We Believe, p. 28, 2015
